How do we sign up for PRC?
For students attending a school:
Signup for the PRC is coordinated by the PRC coordinator at your school.
If you are enrolled at school, are currently studying from home and want to participate in the PRC please contact your teacher.
Schools need to sign up using the
online form between 24 February and 3 July 2020, and then student registrations through the
online application form between 16 March and 3 July 2020.
Once your school has signed up to participate, the PRC coordinator will be emailed with information regarding the registration process.
If you are a registered Home Educator:
Signup for the PRC using the Home Educator online form and we will contact you.
How many books do I need to read?
To complete the challenge you need to read 10 books in 10 weeks; you can read more if you wish; just add an extra reading log page to your log book. You can download the reading log and the extra page from
here.
Can I read any type of books?
Any type of books; Fiction or Non-Fiction
If you can’t access books at home right now this page has links to ebooks that you can access if you are a Library Tasmania member. Not a member? Join online.
Can I complete the challenge at any time within the 10 weeks?
Yes. Teachers need to record that you have completed the challenge through the PRC Application.
