For educators - participation is easy!
The Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) challenges students from Prep to Year 6 to read 10 books in 10 weeks and can be integrated with existing classroom reading programs.
This year, the Challenge begins on Monday 9 April and ends on Friday 15 June 2018.
The PRC Team liaise with a PRC School Coordinator in each school. The PRC Team provides materials,
prize and incentives, send regular updates for distribution to teachers and support the PRC School Coordinator.
Schools may have a small number of Student Reading Ambassadors to assist the PRC School Coordinator and to promote the PRC and reading in general.
How do we get involved?
Schools need to sign up for the PRC
and to register student names for the Challenge.

Monday 19 March to Friday 13 April 2018.
Home Educators need to send an email message to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 23 March giving:
- Home educator's name, postal address, contact email address. A phone number is optional.
- The name of their home school (if there is one).
- The name and year level of each student from Prep to Year 6.
Send us an email when each student finishes the Challenge to ensure they receive their completion certificate and prize pack.
PRC School Coordinators
PRC School Coordinators receive resources and incentives from the PRC Team to help run the program in their school. They also receive regular updates from the Team. The School Coordinators
If the school wants to have Student Reading Ambassadors within their PRC program, the School Coordinator promotes the role of the Student Reading Ambassadors.
